About Eastbay Quilters
Eastbay Quilters is a resident club within the Whakatāne Arts and Craft Society, and has been a community hub for eastern bay quilters since 1992. Members of Eastbay Quilters enjoy many benefits, including regular meetings (second, fourth and fifth Thursday of the month, 9:30am – 12noon), exhibition opportunities, access to workshops and the quilting library, and the provision of materials for charity quilt-making. Additionally, members have full Whakatāne Arts and Craft Society benefits, including access to other clubs (e.g., painting, pottery and woodcraft). Eastbay Quilters supports members to learn, share and enjoy each other’s company. Beginners welcome.
